Three steps. One record.
Picked up 9:58. Delivered 10:42. Signed by M. Ortiz. That one's a sample, and that's the level of detail on every run.
- Step 1
Book
Set up a standing route or request a STAT run. You see the price first.
- Step 2
Pick up & seal
The courier photographs the sealed tote and logs the seal number, tote count and, for cold chain, the temperature.
- Step 3
Deliver & sign
At the door the courier checks the seal, takes a photo, and gets a signature and a printed name.
What the custody record contains
- Job number, date, line, account and status
- The route, from pickup to delivery
- Every handoff: time, event, who held it, seal, temperature
- Pickup and delivery photos
- Signatures with names and times
- A record hash, so a changed copy can be spotted
It records no patient or medication details.
When a stop goes wrong
The courier logs it in one tap, the tote goes back to the pharmacy, and the dispatcher and the client are alerted right away. It goes on the record like anything else.
